Silvia Neretti is a designer researcher in the field of Design for Health and Mental Health; She is currently a Ph.D. Candidate at the Design School, Arizona State University.
Silvia uses speculative, fictional, and ontological design approaches to explore healing; she approaches mental health as a problem of imagination and more than social justice.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design (2012) from the Faculty of Design and Arts, Free University of Bolzano (Italy) and a Master’s degree in Social Design (2014) from the Design Academy Eindhoven (Netherlands). She received a Fulbright Scholarship in 2016 to pursue her Ph.D. and explore the topic of healing from Eating Disorders through design.
